About New Star Pole School

New Star-Pole School (NSPS), established in 1994 (2050 B.S.), is a distinguished secondary-level boarding school nestled in Kageshwori Manohara, Kathmandu. For over three decades, we have been a steadfast provider of quality education, guiding students from Playgroup to Grade Ten.

With more than 18 batches having successfully passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), our legacy is built on a foundation of academic excellence and holistic development. We are proud to foster a diverse community, welcoming students from all corners of Nepal.

Greetings! It has been a pleasure to see New Star Pole English Secondary School serving this community for over three decades. We are incredibly proud of our students' past and recent achievements in both the SEE and internal examinations.

We have noticed significant growth in our students, not only in their academic understanding but also in their practical application of knowledge. Our students have also been highly active in sports, dance, arts, music, environmental awareness programs, and more. Our school team is committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment, and I salute our teachers for their profound dedication and service.

At NSPS, our motto is "Learn to Serve God and People." In line with this, we are making every effort to make our school 'A School of Happiness.' We instill in our students the value of mutual respect and encourage all parents to engage with our school community whenever they have questions about their children or the school.

I want to express my sincere thanks to our deeply dedicated teachers and wonderful staff. Their hard work and commitment are essential to the success of our students. We are truly proud to have such a passionate team at NSPS. The NSPS family is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. The world where I grew up is not the same world where our children are growing today. The primary aspects that shape our lives are rapidly evolving. The advent of Artificial Intelligence, the undeniable reality of climate change, persistent conflicts across nations—these shifting global landscapes urge us to rethink the way we teach, the way we learn, and the way we prepare our children for the future.

At New Star Pole School, from Playgroup to Class X, our vision is clear: to embed the essence of sustainability deeply into the hearts and minds of our students. Our planet Earth—the common home of all—needs responsible, compassionate citizens grounded in sustainable and value-based ideologies. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam… the world is one family, and we strive to nurture children who truly understand this ancient wisdom.

For us, learning goes far beyond textbooks. At NSPS, the four-walled classrooms, the open playgrounds, the gardens, the creative corners, the streets of our community, and the excursions we undertake—all become dynamic learning spaces. Our students learn everywhere, every time, and with everyone around them.
